Alumi-Span offers a variety of unique accessories that add convenience and function to your boat dock. Alumi-Span accessories are extremely durable. We stay away from poorly made foreign components as they almost never meet our high quality standards. Most of the accessories Alumi-Span offers are items that are manufactured by us and they are designed around our own boat dock system. The Alumi-Span system uses 4" high "F " style stringers on the deck frame and 2" O.D. tubing for the support structure. These are very popular dimensions used on other boat docks so many of our accessories will fit other brands. Be careful in measuring your existing post diameters as another common size is 1 7/8" outside diameter. Some of our items will fit this size, others will not. Boat Dock Accessories

Corner Sections

A 45˚ corner section is the perfect place to mount a ladder so it doesn't interfere with other people using the boat dock. It can also be used to keep young children from jumping over sections that are at right angles to each other. Corner sections simply slide into any right angle on your boat dock using the 4" high stringers (the most common type) as a mounting point. Stainless steel pins hold them firmly in place. Sections come with a 4' bumper in your choice of royal blue, teal, white or black. The unit has a cut out to accommodate a post or bracket located in the dock corner, if there is a post in this location the post will have to be lowered to 1 ¼" below the top of the deck surface to accommodate the corner section. This can be done many ways but the easiest is to just cut the post of at that height. Corner sections are available in all deck materials.

Pole Extensions

Did you ever get a boat dock in place and wish you could make the posts a little taller? Alumi-Span has extensions in 18" and 48" sizes. To use them on a standard *2" O.D. post, take the cap out and simply insert the small end of the extension. Re-insert the cap in the new piece. These units are perfect for adding some length to accommodate our vinyl stackable boat bumpers without starting all over again. * Measure carefully as 1 7/8" O.D. posts will not work.

Snap-On Diagonal Braces

Only from Alumi-Span, this brace helps eliminate the pendulum effect when using longer posts. They come in 4', 5', 6', & 8', standard lengths and are designed to fit a *2" O.D. post. The longitudinal version can run parallel to a boat dock section and be pushed onto the bottom of a post on one end and the top of the post on the other. Best of all, unlike competitive brands, ours simply snap on in seconds. No more reaching into cold water to fasten bolts. For those who like the older style bolt on diagonal braces, we still carry them in the same lengths. * Measure carefully as the Snap-On version of this product only works on 2" O.D. Post. 1 7/8" post will require the bolt on design.

Aluminum End Caps

These metal caps are designed to safely cover the sharp edges on the ends of your dock sections. 3', 4', 6', 8', 9', & 12' lengths are standard and the larger ones are designed for use on party platforms. Alumi-Span's aluminum end caps include 2 - #1100 castings to attach them to the dock sections. Special versions called "L" caps are used to cover the open end where the dock turns a corner and have only one casting. "L" caps come in 3', 4', 6', 8', and 9' lengths. Caps will fit over most 4" high stringers but not all dock sections are the same width so please contacts us before you order them for another brand.

Torpedo Bumper

Great looking all vinyl bumpers (no painted foam) fit neatly around post diameters up to 2" O.D. These bumpers cover the joint made by the cross arms attaching to the dock post. They offer quality protection for your boat and come in an 18" long size with your choice of 4 non-fading colors.

Stackable Bumper Extensions

Only from Alumi-Span! Sometimes, especially when mooring pontoon boats, regular torpedo bumpers aren't high enough. Our stackable bumpers fit right over them to create any height you need in 10" increments. Also stacks down the pole using a locking clip to protect jet skis and other small water craft. 15" post extensions are available to accommodate this product without buying another longer post.

Side & Boat Dock End Bumpers

Complete protection for your boat with the industry's best selection of color coordinated bumpers. Picture below illustrates a near fool proof system for protecting a pontoon boat while docking, even in changing water and wind conditions. Heavy duty, fade free vinyl material extends both below and above the deck surface to protect Jet Ski hoods and boat bows. An aluminum channel is imbedded in the vinyl for maximum strength and fits over any 4" high dock stringer. We stock many standard sizes for Alumi-Span boat docks. These bumpers come in 4 non-fading colors that match Alumi-Span torpedo bumpers for a uniform look. These can be custom cut to size, so please call us if you are purchasing these for another brand of dock as many competitors dock sections vary in length and width.

3' H.D. Adjustable Bumpers

These rugged units use a 3' long polypropylene fender and have 2 clamps that can fit anywhere on a *2" O.D. dock post making them adjustable for changing water levels. * Measure carefully as 1 7/8" O.D. posts will not work.

Removable Ladder

This ladder can be used for boat docks, swim platforms and pontoon boats. We make it with anodized aluminum and stainless steel fasteners and brackets. It's designed to last decades. The 3 step shallow water model reaches 33" below the dock surface and the 4 step reaches 45" allowing someone to swim up to the ladder and easily climb up. Railings extend 19" above the deck allowing easy access. Ladders can be removed in seconds without tools. Extra mounting kits are available if you want to use the ladder in more than one place. Watch out for foreign made ladders that look similar but have paper thin metal and poor mounting hardware.

Dock / Seawall Stairs

You don't want flimsy stairs. It needs to feel safe and sturdy in the water. Alumi-Span uses a tough welded aluminum frame with an aggressive Poly tread that grips under water even when covered with algae. Flow through design resists wave action (post and sea wall attachments are also available). Unlike most stairs, our risers are covered to re-enforce the structure and prevent feet and legs from slipping through (remember you often cannot see where you're stepping under water). Also perfect to allow dogs to get into the water. 3' wide units come in 2, 3, 4, & 5 step models with each step gaining 9". It includes a handrail that can be mounted on either side. A second handrail is optional.

Polywood South Beach Dock/Deck Chair

No maintenance chairs are made of fade resistant polyethylene material and stainless fittings. They are comfortable and are ideally suited to dock use since they have enough heft to resist strong winds. They come in numerous colors including black, white, red, royal blue, yellow, faux teak, hunter green, aqua, tangerine and lime. Combine them with Alumi-Span bumper colors to match your boat or house. Matching Ottoman and side table are also available

Polywood Dock/Deck Bench

Why put up with high maintenance wood or iron benches. Our sturdy 5' units are contoured to fit your body and won't easily blow around in the wind, perfect for dock or deck. Some companies make benches that are built into the dock but they're usually uncomfortable and never in the right place. Why not get a real bench. Colors available include white, hunter green, faux teak, and sand.

Pole Mounted Lights

These high quality solar lights are very powerful and can be set for two levels of brightness. They feature replaceable LED lights and Ni/Cad rechargeable batteries. Colored bulbs can be specified and BEST OF ALL, they are specifically designed to fit over a boat dock post. Adaptors for different size post include 1-5/8", 1-7/8", 2", and 2-3/8". This product will also mount on a flat surface.

Deck Mounted Solar Runway Lights

These lights can be mounted in pairs down the length of any dock. In additional to being able to walk more safely in the dark they give off a very dramatic appearance as each light has 4 bright LED bulbs that shine both directions. The strong cast aluminum body is beveled nearly flush to prevent a trip hazard.

Collapsible 20' Flag Pole

There are a lot of poorly made flag poles out there; this is not one of them. Our strong all aluminum flag poles have cast fittings, are 20' high and collapse to 10' for storage. Best of all, they are designed to fit perfectly over a 2" O.D. post allowing them to be installed in seconds on your Alumi-Span dock. A Three inch gold ball is available for the top of the flag pole. We also have adaptors to fit smaller 1 7/8" O.D. posts.

Seawall Mounting Bracket

Our heavy duty brackets are made of aluminum channel and allow you to easily start the first section in exactly the right direction so that the end of the last section will be right where it was last year. They bolt flush to the top of most seawall designs. The end of any 4" high dock section fits right inside this channel and is secured simply by dropping a bolt into a 3/8" hole drilled in the top of each corner. If you have an angled concrete break wall without a cutout for the dock please call us for other options for flush mounting your dock.

Bolt on Diagonal Assembly

This casting assembly can be used with 2.0" diameter tubing to make diagonal braces that stop dock sway. They also allow you to bolt two tubes together at almost any angle for special structural applications.

Ladder Mounting Kit

Additional mounting bracket sets for your Alumi-Span ladder. Having more than one mounting kit allows you to use your ladder in more than one location. Great for the front of a pontoon boat or swim raft. These are high quality units and are designed to be used with Alumi-Span ladders only! Kit includes backer and wear plates to keep the ladders hinge point from contacting the deck surface. All stainless steel/aluminum construction last for years. Made in the USA.

3 Inch Gold Anodized Aluminum Flagpole Ball

3 inch anodized gold flagpole ball. These units have a half inch stem and bolt right into the top of your Alumi-Span flagpole. Hex nut included!

36” 3.5 Rectangular Bumper

These bumpers are ideal for mounting on docks and piers with fluctuating water levels. They can be mounted vertically or horizontally to cover various surfaces of the dock. This bumper is molded with two mounting holes already in place for easy installation. Use up to a .25” lag bolt to install these bumpers onto any wood or metal dock. They are made of Low Density Polyethylene. This high strength plastic is made to be stiff yet forgiving. The low density properties give it the ability to cushion impact then return to form. Formulated with UV protection for the marine environment, it is both long lasting and durable. This product is just the polyethylene bumper and will easily attach to a 2X4 of any type. Alumi-Span sells these pre-mounted with clamps to attach to a 2 inch post if your application requires that. Please see 3 FT Heavy Duty Bumper!
