These rugged units use a 3’ long polypropylene fender and have 2 clamps that can fit anywhere on a dock post making them adjustable for changing water levels. The backing of this unit is aluminum and the clamps are cast. These are much more secure than models of this with a bolt that squeezes the pole to hold it up.
2" and 1 7/8” O.D. posts will work with this product. These will not work with square tubing.

3 foot heavy bumper
I bought 3 of these, installed and used them all summer. They do the job of protecting my boat from dock damage perfectly. I use them on the end of the dock, for temporary mooring to load/unload the boat, but they would work just as well for dock mooring. I have never found anything that works as well. They are not decorative but extremely functional.

These are cool
These are super helpful for protecting the end of a dock or the pole areas. I use them in conjunction with normal torpedo fenders as these can extend down into the water or up into the air. Why is that important: Not every craft sits at the same hight for protection. Some are taller and have sloped sides, others have a rub rail very low and if you don't have something low toward the water that extens out a little you may get the craft sidewalls under the dock. Water level changes compound issue especially for shorter crafts like a 2-up Jet Ski/PWC. These help mitigate those problems. You should have a few if your area has these issues. I've had a pair for a decade now and they are still in GREAT condition. I do pull them at first sign of freezing water to protect them. Do note - they are not 100% water proof and water will sometimes collect inside the unit - which is not a problem but be mindful of that for freezing.

Owner
Bought these to put on a customers boat dock steps to protect their boat in crosswinds. They are really happy with the look and performance. Only issue is I thought that the clamps were adjustable up and down, which would have made installation easier, but they were welded fixed.
