4' Post Extension

Aluminum post extensions are a great way to add additional length onto your post without buying new ones. Extensions slip right into the tops of your existing Alumi-Span post that are 2" O.D.  If using these on another brand of post measure the wall thickness and call us to make sure this will work.  The O.D. of the necked down tubing is 1.81".  The 18 inch extension give your dock post an overall extension of 18 inches. 18 inches is enough to allow you to put post bumpers and extension bumpers on your dock. A larger 4 foot version is available as well. The 4 foot version has a usable extension length of 48 inches. Note: If you do not already have them post caps should be used on your extensions to guard against the sharp edge. Theses can be found under either aluminum or galvanized post.
