Designed to allow an augered dock installation without any of the work! Like our famous “Big Foot”, Perma-Auger is heavy duty and designed to be left in the water under the ice line year around. Regular 2" OD uprights simply drop right into them! Perma-Augers are augered in first time only and cut installation times by 65% with a dock that is always perfectly positioned. A large vinyl funnel makes it easy to put in the post even if visibility is restricted. These units are 29" in length and fully adjustable for height. They should not be installed in areas so shallow that the ice can freeze around the unit. Leave 6-10 inches of pole sticking out of the lake bottom to avoid sand getting in the tube. They work

I installed the permanent augers last summer. With the dock in place I reset one post at a time to keep alignment. This spring installing the dock was a breeze. I used a jigsaw to cut slots in the post for a better fit in the auger, simply cut from the holes used to bolt in the auger. This year I will set a section of larger PVC pipe to keep dirt from filling the auger and easier to find.
